Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing Takes Top Spot!

Orchestral Media Developments is delighted to announce that Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing for the Nintendo DS is now in shops, and after just one week on store shelves is currently sitting in pole position, gaining some very positive reviews from both the gaming media and fans alike! It was such a joy for us to work with both Sega and Sumo Digital, so its particularly pleasing to see the game off to a fine start!

Alien Breed Evolution

Released on XBL on the 16/12/2009, and Q2 2010 on PS3 and PC, Alien Breed Evolution sees our very own Allister Brimble revisit the Alien Breed universe once more. Commisioned by Team 17, Allister has applied a fresh lick of paint to his classic Alien Breed theme, bringing it kicking and screaming into the 21st century! A snippet of which can be heard in the Alien Breed Evolution gameplay trailer below.

Planet 51: The Game

Orchestral Media Developents are happy to announce the completion of Planet 51 on the Nintendo DS, developed by Firebrand, and published by Sega. OMD were in conversion mode once more, armed with the task of turning original music, composed by the guys at Pyro, into something more suited to the DS hardware.

Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing

Orchestral Media Developents are happy to announce the completion of Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing on the Nintendo DS, developed by Sumo Digital, and published by Sega. OMD had a real blast remixing and modernising a whole host of classic tunes from within the vaults at Sega, and written specifically for the DS!

OMD completes another score of projects in 2008.

Orchestral Media Developments is once again pleased to announce the completion of over 20 projects on a variety of platforms.
Projects included International Track And Field, G.R.I.D, Trackmania, Puzzler Collection, Football Director DS, Need For Speed:Undercover, Me And My Horse 2, Koh Lanta and the Lets Play range of DS titles.
Another successful 12 months also saw Orchestral Media Developments supply audio content for a wide range of TV Games products by Jakks Pacific and Disney including Wall-E, Hannah Montana and Camp Rock. Orchestral Media Developments are in full swing on a number of projects set to release in 2009 on a variety of platforms.

Two OMD titles make IGN best of year list.

Two OMD titles have won awards in the prestigious IGN.COM best of 2008 awards. Sumo Digital’s New International Track & Field won the Best Sports Game and Firebrand‘s GRID took home the Best Racing/Driving Game.

Orchestral Media spends Summer in Abu Dhabi

Orchestral Media Developments very own Allister Brimble has written and recorded the music for a television commercial promoting the recent Summer In Abu Dhabi Theme Park Extravaganza. Allisters music was also featured at the exhibition centre itself.
Summer in Abu Dhabi is a great new 8 week extravaganza for the whole family. Spread over 13,000sqm of air conditioned indoor space at the state-of-the-art Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, Summer in Abu Dhabi consists of 7 themed islands providing the very best in educational entertainment for children.
